I have read about "the best cat food" to feed your cat. My cat boomer has just been one year old and I plan to keep it forever. I want to make sure I give him the best food for his health, keep it active and keep his hair stitches healthy as well. I've even read about people who feed their cats human food and real meat. Is this good for your cat? With so many brands out there, I do not know which one is the best. Could you please give me some tips? Thank you!

The conclusion is: feeding the premium brand of food. As long as you do that, and as long as your pet is healthy, it's hard to go wrong. In my experience, there is not much difference in animal health that is labeled different premium brands. So, whether you choose Iams, Nutro, Science Diet, Innova, Royal Canin, Eukanuba, Purina One, or comparable brands are not too important. I suggest you feed your pet the most suitable food for him and for you, as long as it is a premium brand.
