How Do I Stop My Cat From Urinating Outside The Litter Box?
Hi there Layla is my kitty. She often enjoys urinating outside his box. She has been tested for urinary tract infections and treated, also others. Is this something more common for certain breeds than others? He has three boxes to choose from. Do you have any other suggestions?

Daily Meow | Urinating is not exactly necessarily one of the most frustrating problems of anyone who has a cat or dog. Homesoiling has two basic causes: medical problems and behavioral problems.

Urinary tract infections and swelling (irritation) of the bladder are a common medical cause of making home baked bread. Pets feel pain and burn, which can cause them to urinate in strange places. If Layla has been treated for a urinary tract infection (bladder aka), and retested to make sure there is no infection left, then this may not contribute to the current problem.

However, there are a number of other medical conditions, such as diabetes and kidney disease, which can lead to urination outside of the box. I watched as I looked at Layla's profile that she was eight years old. Cats aged over seven are more susceptible to this type of problem, so if he has not had a blood test and urine recently, I would recommend it.

House behavior can be difficult to handle. Stress and anxiety are the most frequent causes. Some cats will urinate outside the box to mark their territory if a new cat is brought home, or whether they see a new cat in the yard through the window. Tactics to avoid restaurant intake include adding a litter box (which you already do), using an enzymatic cleanser to remove urine odors from dirty areas, and reduce stress (which often means giving each cat in his own home area to house the territory).
